ULM Softball Complex

The ULM Softball Complex has been home for the Warhawk softball teams for over 20 years. Located right off Warhawk Way, adjacent to Brown Stadium and the football practice fields, the Complex was the stomping grounds of the ULM baseball team until the early 1980's.

The ULM Softball Complex underwent a massive, $200,000 improvement project prior to the 2011 season, making the facility one of the best in the Sun Belt Conference.The complex features bleacher seating for over 500 people, as well as additional seating space along the foul lines.

The upgraded Complex now includes top of the line team facilities. The ULM locker room has an area for players that includes a leather couch and televisions for study and relaxation.

The office and press box areas are adorned with pictures, awards, and trophies that speak as a testament to the programs success since it's inception.

The reconstruction project also saw other massive improvements. The facility's original dugouts were replaced by new ones with significantly more space, bathrooms, storage space and brick facades to match the backstop constructed in 2010.

The field's most distinguishing feature is the state-of-the-art scoreboard that rises behind the center field fence. The technologically advanced design includes a message center that has picture and graphic capabilities, as well as an inning-by-inning score tracker. The back of the scoreboard features a sign that reads "Home of the Warhawks", which can be seen from around the ULM athletic complex.

The renovation project was made possible by generous contributions from the Monroe-West Monroe Convention and Visitors Burreau, as well as the ULM Construction Department. The Construction Department, overseen by Bobby Ensminger and Dr. David Manry, consisted of ULM students. Also aiding to the project were TXI, Ruffin Building Systems, Southern Steel Fabricators, Hugh Parker (architect), Bradford Lumber, ACME Brick, Breck Construction, James Machine Works, and Rogers Manufacturing.
